Built Like Equipment, Not Packaging: Chess Bag Durability

A chess bag looks like the simplest item in the catalogue. It takes the hardest beating.

A tournament bag gets dragged through airports, stuffed under tables, and opened ten times a day. Cheap stitching gives up first — usually at the handle. Then the zipper. Then the lining tears where the pieces shift in transit.

So we build ours like equipment, not packaging: dense canvas or padded nylon, bar-tacked handles, smooth zippers that don't catch, and separate pockets so pieces, board, and clock never grind against each other. Every seam gets a pull test before it ships.

Dealers ask us which bag to stock. Our answer: the one a club player will still be using in five years. That bag sells the next set.
